After receiving complaints from consumers, my office filed a lawsuit against Timeshare Exit Team (also known as Reed Hein & Associates) for charging consumers thousands of dollars to provide assistance with getting out from under timeshares, but failing to do so.

Many consumers paid for timeshare exit services, only to be ignored. Other consumers, who may have received assistance from Timeshare Exit Team, often suffered harm like foreclosures and significant drops in their credit scores.

As a result of our lawsuit, consumers, like you, may be entitled to a refund of at least some of the money you paid Timeshare Exit Team.  Only the company's Washington customers are eligible for a potential refund as a result of this settlement. 

YOUR OPTIONS

OPTION 1: Submit a Survey

Deadline: 
April 27, 2024

Complete and submit a survey to potentially receive a settlement payment. 
By completing and submitting a survey, you may recover some of the money you paid Timeshare Exit Team. This is the only way to claim and receive payment from the settlement.  Submit completed surveys by mail to: State of Washington v. Reed Hein & Associates Settlement Administrator, PO Box 301132, Los Angeles, CA 90030-1132.  Or, return via email at [email protected]

Only consumers from the State of Washington are eligible for a settlement payment.  You may download and print the survey from the Case Documents tab.

OPTION 2: Do Nothing


Do nothing.
If you do not take any action, you will not receive any payment under this lawsuit.
